Louise Jacquelyn ObituaryLouise Jacquelyn Foster, age 68 of Tulsa, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019. She was born to the late Gerald Foster and Anne Stuart Foster on June 19, 1951.

Louise attended Owasso Grammar School and Tulsa High School, before attending the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She was an active member in the community and served on the Board of Health in Tulsa for 30 years, and served on the fundraising committee for the American Cancer Society for many years. She was a lifelong member of St. Davids Catholic Church.

Family and friends were Louises passion and delight. She grew up spending summers and vacations with her brother, Marty, and her two cousins, Jennifer and Nicole. She loved to host and entertain and frequently had garden parties at her house. For several years, Louise would visit Hawaii in the winter. She enjoyed her time in Hawaii and made many lifelong friends there.

Louise was a member of the Owasso Golf Club, the Kauai Golf Club in Hawaii, as well as the Kauai Yacht Club in Hawaii. She loved to golf and learned to sail during her winters in Hawaii. She was very active and loved being outdoors.

Louise is survived by her brother, Marty Foster, and her two cousins who were like sisters to her, Jennifer (Jason) Pound and Nicole (Kevin) Curry. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

Louise requested a small private funeral. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last few months. Donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Center Palliative Care Facility, 9382 East 15th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 00000, or St. Davids Catholic Church, 444 East 11th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 55555.
